Rumours abound of weight loss supplements being harmful for diabetics, be they in pill or juice form. Well for once, the rumours are true. Many of these supplements are filled with sugar and preservatives to make them taste good, however there are a few exceptions, you just need to do some research.
Think about weight loss bars for instance. They give people the idea that they are eating a healthy version of a chocolate bar or sweet, so they're not actually sacrificing their favourite foods. The problem with these bars is that they are still filled with large amounts of sugar to make them taste sweet, and therefore are still unhealthy.
It is true that they may help you to lose a little weight, however if you have diabetes they can make it worse, and if you don't their high sugar content can put you at risk. Instead you should be taking organic, natural weight loss supplements which don't contain harmful additives.
The Acai berry is a small fruit filled with seeds that grows in the Amazon. Nutritionists and scientists have proven that it greatly helps weight loss, therefore many products made from Acai are appearing on the market.

Is Acai good for diabetics however? Well, in its natural state it doesn't have a high sugar content. Unfortunately some Acai weight loss supplements are still filled with fructose, a form of sugar. This is especially true of Acai juices, where other fruits have also been blended in. They also tend to have artificial preservatives to make the juice keep longer.
The best way to consume Acai is in capsule form. The capsules are made from 100% pure Acai extract, and no sugar or preservatives are added.
